Danielle's Silver & Gold opened in the fall of 1994 By newlyweds Rick and Nikki Niles. We started out very small on the lower level of Thompson Park Mall. By the next summer we had decided it was time to move the the upper level where all the traffic was and signed a 5 year lease. We have been in the same location in Thompson Park Mall now for 8 years. During the years our family as well as our store has grown, in 1999  we had our first child Benjamin Graham Niles and in 2002 we had our second child Adam Pieter Niles.

   When Danielle's first started out in 1994 we had a little bit of  silver, gold, diamonds, and watches. Over the years Danielle's has expanded every area of the store to the point that we are considered the best selection of affordable quality jewellery in Kamloops.  At Danielle's we cater to the low to mid priced jewellery shopper. At Danielle's we are known for our incredible selection of sterling silver from around the world, but people soon find out we are much more than just a silver store when they see our huge selection of gold, diamonds, and gemstone jewellery, as well as watches , and clocks.

In March of 2006 we relocated to Sahali Centre Mall and expanded our store for 700 square feet to over 1600 square feet. With the new store means more selection in every department.
